Sep 23, 2020 · 9,332 Posts. #2 · May 11, 2012. My first guess would be the filter. The hydraulic pump mounts on top of a charge pump. I am guessing you took both off as a unit. The charge pump sends oil first to the filter, then thru a hose to oil reservoir thats mounted above the pump then down into the pump.There is a suction screen in the rear axle housing.
